A New Attitude

At some point last year, with a lot of self work, I found that my attitude changed. Most of my life I’ve looked at the negative. Why I can’t do something. Why I’m afraid to do something. I limited my life by limiting my risks. At the time, it was critical to regaining my quality of life after some serious medical nonsense. I now live with plenty of chronic conditions and somewhere along the line realized I couldn’t let them hold me back anymore.

It started with asking myself “I wonder if I could do a 5k a month for a year?” Turns out I can. After years of deferring to my health to build up the reasons I couldn’t do something, I decided to get curious and began to Wonder. What if I can do it? What if I’m successful? What if I find something new to love.

This change in attitude slowly invaded my life and led to many changes. A year later, my life is filled with near daily realizations that I wasn’t doing “this” a year ago. It’s going to be a wild ride.
